HS 180 Bible Study

180 Goals: ‘Learn, Grow, & Share’

1) For students to learn about the Bible and the Christian faith through teaching and group discussion

2) For students to grow spiritually by identifying with the story of the Bible and the practices of the Christian faith, e.g. worship, service, testimonies, etc.

3) For students to share in Christian fellowship by building significant relationships with one another and also with adult leaders

180 is a Bible Study for high school students, which is from 5-7pm on Wednesdays during the school year. The schedule goes as follows: game with middle schoolers/hang out time, dinner, lesson and discussion.

Once students reach high school, their FUEL youth group time changes from Wednesday to Sunday night. However, 180 is a Wednesday night program for high school students which seeks to engage them in deeper learning of the Christian faith.

We must always be reminded to do a 180 from the ways of the world and to turn towards Christ. In this program, adult volunteers teach lessons and lead exercises that challenge students to study the Bible and grow in their identity as Christians united together.

The 180 group often goes out for dinner, and they love to do covered dishes. It's a wonderful time of fellowship!
